Claremont is a major residential and mixed-use development on the Howth Peninsula, located opposite Howth Castle and overlooking the Irish Sea. Developed by Marlet Property Group and delivered by Walls Construction, the development provides 596 apartments, a crèche, over 2,600m² of retail space and almost 12,000m² of landscaped public areas.
Designed by Henry J Lyons, the development includes modern apartment buildings, landscaped courtyards and a public walkway connecting the site with the surrounding area. The project also presented significant logistical challenges due to its coastal location and restricted site access, with more than 47,000m³ of concrete delivered across approximately 5,000 truck deliveries.
Laois Scaffolding Hire Ltd. provided specialist scaffolding and access solutions to Walls Construction throughout the development.
Our teams supported masonry, brickwork, glazing, roofing and external finishing works across the multi-storey residential blocks. Scaffolding was adapted to suit different building heights and construction stages, with close coordination between LSH, Walls Construction and other trades.
As the external works progressed, LSH also carried out the phased removal of scaffolding, helping to safely reveal the completed façades and maintain progress across the site.
